A 'lavender' policy environment for early cancer care. Project report

Abstract

This report explores key tools and conditions that enable effective early cancer care. It first identifies high-performing countries using a newly developed composite index measuring conduciveness to early cancer care across both high- and low-/middle-income settings. Subsequently, in-depth case studies were conducted to examine how selected high performers implemented successful tools, with attention to their specific contexts. Two lower-performing countries beginning to invest in early cancer care are also included to shed light on emerging efforts and future potential
