ELDTA Linguistics Media Player

Abstract

A web interface to ELAN files enabling navigation between moments in audio or video, and glosses, transcripts, translations etc. A javascript enables the user to click anywhere in the video to go directly to the linguistics information, or alternatively, to go to the linguistics information to the point in time in the media. This is a scrape or snapshot of a prototype developed for Endangered Languages Documentation, Theory and Application (ELDTA) through the Centre for 21st Century Humanities at the University of Newastle, Australia. It is an archive of legacy software that is not supported but which may be useful for others to adapt to produce similar interfaces to archives of ELAN files. See under the 'Collection' section of the scraped website, for example recordings of Vetrat and Sisiol.
