
This research investigates the effectiveness of using Quizlet, an American interactive online website, in improving first-year students’ vocabulary retention. There were 36 six students majoring in Tourism who participated in this study. By integrating Quizlet into teaching students, this study explores how effective the Quizlet is in helping students enhance their vocabulary and make their learning experience more interesting. The data collection used in this research included a pre-test, a post-test, a survey questionnaire, and an interview. The final findings indicated that Quizlet was a great vocabulary learning tool that improved students’ vocabulary and made learning vocabulary more enjoyable and engaging.
