Abstract

The article analyses and distinguishes the terms transliteration, transcription, and transformation and clarifies the differences between them. A practical analysis of transliteration, transcription, and transformation of prominent nouns from other languages into Uzbek and from Uzbek into English is provided. There are practical advice for transferring from Cyrillic and Latin graphics to Uzbek language graphics, as well as particular findings and rules for the acquisition, transformation, or transcription of nouns from foreign languages.
