Abstract

Mahmud Qoshg'ariyning "Devonu lug'otit-turk" asari birinchi tilshunoslikka atab yozilgan asar hisoblanadi. Bu asar faqat tilshunoslik bilan cheklanib qolmasdan, balki Markaziy Osiyoda yashovchi qabilalar tarixi va adabiyotga oid materiallarni o'z ichiga olgan.M. Qoshg'ariy "Devon" ni 1074-yilda yozib tugatgan. Asar ko'plab olimlar tomonidan o'rganilgan. Ushbu maqola "Devonu lug'otit-turk" asari haqidagi ma'lumotlar va o'rganilish tarixiga qaratilgan.
