Intradiscal Ozone Therapy: Costs and Quality of Life

Abstract

Technical notes and documentation This publication contains the database used in the paper titled "Ozone Therapy in Patients Awaiting Lumbar Disc Surgery: Societal Costs and Health-Related Quality of Life". Aims of the paper: While surgery is an option for those failing conservative treatments of lumbar disc herniation (LDH), ozone therapy has emerged as an alternative. This prospective cohort study aimed to evaluate the impact of intradiscal ozone therapy (idO3T) on costs and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in patients awaiting LDH surgery. Files included in this publication: BD_Ozono_final.xlsx (ozone dataset)

This study was supported by a grant PI 17/00120 from the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, Madrid, Spain), a grant (I19/18) from the Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Las Palmas (Las Palmas, Spain), and a grant (CIGC’2023-24) from the Cabildo de Gran Canaria (Las Palmas, Spain).
