As we reflect on 2024, it is clear that this has been a year of growth, collaboration, and progress for EuroFIR. Our commitment to advancing food composition data and research has led to significant developments, from the expansion of our Food Composition Databases (FCDBs) to the launch of new research initiatives addressing critical challenges in nutrition and food sustainability. EuroFIR continues to strengthen its role as a leader in food composition data through strategic partnerships and innovative projects. This year, we have successfully secured new EU-funded research opportunities, broadened our engagement through enhanced outreach activities, and welcomed new Members and collaborators who bring valuable expertise to our community. Our governance and financial sustainability efforts have also been a priority, ensuring that EuroFIR remains well-positioned for the future. We have implemented key improvements in financial models, expanded digital services, and refined our membership offerings to provide greater value.
