This is the sixth in a series of 10 video tutorials produced within the activities of the Swedish infrastructure for Digital Archaeology, Swedigarch. This tutorial covers the fusion process in Artec Studio 17, which generates a mesh from the aligned scans. It explains the different fusion settings, how to optimize resolution and detail, and how to handle potential issues such as noise or holes in the mesh. The dataset used in this tutorial—including an Artec Studio project file, a 3D model in OBJ format, and a PDF with a specific print designed to enhance scan quality—can be downloaded from the first tutorial at https://zenodo.org/uploads/15149591.
