Abstract

Die Zitierfähigkeit in digitalen Editionen ist eine zentrale Herausforderung der modernen Wissenschaft, die sich aus der Unbeständigkeit von URLs und der Schwierigkeit der präzisen Zitation spezifischer Textabschnitte ergibt. Dieses Paper führt die Methode der Explicitly Notated Citations (ENC) ein, welche auf der Technologie Applied Text as Graph (ATAG) basiert. Durch die Verwendung einzigartiger Identifikatoren ermöglicht ENC die Erstellung dynamischer, flexibler und präziser Zitierlinks, die nicht nur auf den Text, sondern auch auf dessen Kontext verweisen. Diese Methode verbessert die wissenschaftliche Genauigkeit und Transparenz, indem sie die Persistenz der Zitierlinks gewährleistet und die Reproduzierbarkeit von zitierten Textansichten unterstützt. Die Innovation von ENC zeigt neue Wege auf, um den Anforderungen digitaler Textarbeit gerecht zu werden und die Integrität wissenschaftlicher Zitate zu sichern.
