Acceso computacional a colecciones digitales: la propuesta de GLAM Labs

Abstract

Webinar sobre los desafios y oportunidades en la digitalizacion y acceso a colecciones patrimoniales en America Latina. Esta presentación forma parte del evento Towards a National Collection // Contextos del Sur. Más información Las instituciones de patrimonio cultural han explorado nuevas formas para publicar sus contenidos en forma digital desde hace décadas. Recientemente, numerosas iniciativas se centran en el análisis de nuevas formas de acceso y reutilización de los contenidos digitales siguiendo principios éticos y responsables como, por ejemplo, Collections as Data y CARE. En este sentido, la International GLAM Labs Community tiene como objetivo la publicación y reutilización de las colecciones digitales de forma responsable y facilita buenas prácticas en materia de acceso computacional a las organizaciones de patrimonio cultural. Esta presentación introducirá estos conceptos y una selección de ejemplos de proyectos e iniciativas basados en instituciones relevantes. Por último, se introducirán los desafíos y problemas a los que se enfrentan las instituciones en el nuevo contexto centrado en el uso de la Inteligencia Artificial.
