Herausforderungen und Handlungsfelder für nachhaltiges Forschungsdatenmanagement in Rheinland-Pfalz

Abstract

Ein nachhaltiges Forschungsdatenmanagement (FDM) wird zunehmend zur Voraussetzung für wissenschaftliche Qualität und Innovationsfähigkeit. Vor diesem Hintergrund fanden am 7. und 8. März 2024 die Thementage „Forschungsdatenmanagement: KennenLernen – WeiterDenken“ an der Hochschule Mainz statt, um FDM-Akteur:innen in Rheinland-Pfalz zu vernetzen und gemeinsame Perspektiven zu entwickeln. In Präsentationen und einem Barcamp wurden aktuelle Herausforderungen, Handlungsfelder und eine Vision für die FDM-Landschaft in Rheinland-Pfalz erarbeitet. Das daraus entstandene Positionspapier fasst die Ergebnisse der Veranstaltung zusammen und formuliert konkrete Empfehlungen zur Weiterentwicklung von FDM-Strukturen, Kompetenzen und Infrastrukturen. Die Veranstaltung wurde vom Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Gesundheit Rheinland-Pfalz gefördert.
