Abstract

Bringing together software engineering researchers and research software engineers may be addressed via RSE Research. For RSE Research, a categorization for research software provides a framework for classifying research objects, supporting software corpus analyses, and enhancing our understanding of the different types of research software and their properties. RSE Research aims at understanding and improving how software is developed for research.
