
The D3.1 report of the TWINNEDbySTARS project provides an in-depth analysis of coastal and maritime tourism in the outermost regions of the Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands, and Martinique, covering current conditions, connectivity, economic impact, and sector trends. It identifies strengths and weaknesses in the blue tourism sector and proposes strategic actions for sustainable development. The study is based on statistical data and stakeholder consultations and concludes with a SWOT and CAME analysis aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
