Globular Clusters Dataset from the Paper "Revealing the ages of metal-rich RR Lyrae via kinematic label transfer" (HanYuan+25)

Abstract

This repository contains the dataset to reproduce Figure 8 in the paper "Revealing the ages of metal-rich RR Lyrae via kinematic label transfer" by HanYuan, Iorio et al., 2025 The zip file contains a README (README.md) with information about the dataset and a CSV file containgin the data of the Globular Clusters age, metallicity and number of RR Lyrae members found in the literature (GlobularClusters_RRL.csv). The literature references are reported accordingly. The columns are: - GCname: name of the Globular clusters (as in Cruz Reyes+24 or Alonso-García+25)- NRRL: number of RRL members for each cluster as reported in Cruz Reyes+24 or Alonso-García+25- feh_k19: cluster metallicity as reported in Kruijssen+19 (average value in their tab. A1)- age_k19: cluster age as reported in Kruijssen+19 (average value in their tab. A1) [Gyr]- feh_alt: alternative cluster metallicity (different works, see feh_alt_ref)- feh_alt: alternative cluster age (different works, see age_alt_ref) [Gyr]- feh_alt_ref: reference for the alternative metallicity estimate - age_alt_ref: reference for the alternative age estimate - NRRL_ref: reference for the estimate number of RRL in each cluster
