December, 2025 This repository contains the code, model output, and MATLAB scripts required to run the model and reproduce the results presented in Sharoni, Inomura et al., (2026) in the paper entitled "Biochemical remodeling of phytoplankton cell composition under climate change." As a matter of courtesy, we request that people using this code please cite Sharoni, Inomura et al., (2026) In the interest of an "open source" approach, we also request that authors who use the model output please send a copy of the papers to the corresponding author: ssharoni@mit.edu The zip file 'model_output' includes the necessary output files for analysis. Model outputs are in netCDF format: Phase 1: Pre-industrial equilibrium conditions (IGSM_macronol_revised_spinup.nc).Phase 2: Pre-industrial control (IGSM_macromol_revised_run_control.nc). Phase 3: 1860-1990 transient response (IGSM_macromol_revised_run_1860_1990.nc). Phase 4: 1991-2100 transient response (IGSM_macromol_revised_1991_2115.nc). Grid information can be extracted from ‘grid.nc’Ice cover data: DARice.mat The zip file 'figure_scripts' contains the MATLAB scripts needed to reproduce the main figures presented in the paper. To run the model, download the code and input directories, and obtain the model source code from the official MITgcm GitHub repository.------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Contact Information: Shlomit Sharoni, PhD E-mail: ssharoni@mit.edu
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
