Decentralising Development: OmniGaza® & The Future of Sovereign Finance in Africa

Abstract

This report introduces OmniGaza®, a pioneering blockchain-based platform for sovereign development finance in Africa; an evolvement of 'Hustler Fund' and the core of the United African Defence Force© (UADF). Developed by The Ndege Group, Africa’s Sovereign Development Trust®, OmniGaza® aims to streamline sovereign bond issuance, facilitate direct investment, and enhance cross-border payment efficiency while ensuring data sovereignty and economic self-determination for African nations. The paper critically examines the limitations of traditional development finance institutions (DFIs), explores how OmniGaza® leverages permissioned blockchain architecture to reduce transaction costs and enhance transparency, and outlines the legal, technical, and economic framework for its adoption. Additionally, it highlights the challenges and risks associated with implementation and proposes strategic solutions to ensure regulatory compliance, scalability, and institutional trust. By integrating smart contracts, self-sovereign identity (SSI), and secure payment networks, OmniGaza® presents a viable alternative to foreign-controlled financial systems, paving the way for a more resilient, sovereign, and self-sustaining African economy.Appendix: A.
