Abstract

Das seit dem Jahr 2020 in Arbeit befindliche Projekt "Häuserbuch Murrhardt" des Verfassers steht exemplarisch für eine Verbindung von archivalischer Grundlagenforschung, historischer Stadtanalyse und digitaler, auch kartographischer, Dokumentation. Es verfolgt das Ziel, die Entwicklung der Stadt Murrhardt anhand ihrer Gebäude- und Besitzgeschichte vom späten 16. bis zum Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts nachvollziehbar zu machen. In der vorliegenden Publikation gibt der Autor einen Einblick in das Projekt "Häuserbuch Murrhardt" und stellt die Konzeption des Werks vor.Im Zentrum sollen dabei die methodischen Überlegungen stehen, die bei der Strukturierung der Daten, der Auswahl und Bewertung der Quellen sowie bei der digitalen Umsetzung eine Rolle spielen. Zugleich soll der Beitrag zeigen, welche wissenschaftlichen, technischen und organisatorischen Herausforderungen mit einem solchen Projekt verbunden sind – und im besten Fall zur Diskussion über Standards und Herangehensweise bei der Erstellung von Häuserbüchern anregen. ------------------- The author's project “Häuserbuch Murrhardt” (Murrhardt House Book), which has been in progress since 2020, is an example of a combination of archival basic research, historical city analysis, and digital, including cartographic, documentation. Its aim is to trace the development of the town of Murrhardt through the history of its buildings and properties from the late 16th to the early 20th century.In this publication, the author provides an insight into the project and presents the concept behind the work.
