In this specification (v0.8) we present 17 revised minimum viable metrics to systematically measure the extent to which research data objects are FAIR. This is a major revision of the FAIRsFAIR metrics in response to a variety of publications analysing the FAIRsFAIR and other metrics as well as on feedback given by the user community. Further, experiences from developing discipline specific metrics have been taken into account.
