Abstract

New data about Philaeus chrysops (Poda, 1761) (Araneae: Salticidae) in Poland.Philaeus chrysops ( Poda, 1761) is rare and protected species of jumping spider in Poland. This paper provides information on a few new sites of Philaeus chrysops, mostly in Sandomierska Lowland. Additionally, differences in morphology between individuals living in mountains and those inhabiting sandy sites are discussed.
