The concept of a door is not only a means of entry and exit to a building or space but also an important cultural and architectural value that adds meaning to the space it occupies. Just like in the rest of the world, great importance has been placed on doors in the architectural structures of Anatolia. When examining the doors these structures, one can encounter elements that sometimes reflect religious symbols, sometimes embody displays of power, and at other times take on sculptural forms. Especially in significant architectural structures of the period, such as mosques, small mosques, baths, madrasas tombs, hospitals, and caravanserais, magnificent doors can be observed. Among the doors in Anatolian architecture, one of the most important is undoubtedly the Taç Kapıları (Crowning Doors) of the Divriği Ulu Camii (Great Mosque of Divriği). In these doors, it is evident that the architectural art and the art of ornamentation have developed together. The Divriği Ulu Camii and its taç kapıları, constructed in the 12th century, showcase the finest examples of wood and stone craftsmanship, adorned with figurative and rich motif decorations, serving as significant cultural that convey the artistic understanding of the period to the present day. On the other hand, in table ceramics, design is the most important element that reflects the cultural identity and branding of the institution from which it is produced. It is crucial to approach the design process with the aim of preserving significant architectural works that have left their mark on history and serving as a means of transferring them to the future. The most important unique value of this research is to revive the Taç Kapıları of Divriği Ulu Camii, one of the most magnificent structures of its time, through new and contemporary designs in today's table ceramics. In way, one can both preserve our cultural heritage and bring a new perspective to the decorative designs of table ceramics. It is hoped that this study will serve as a pioneer for the ceramic tableware industry and for students in relevant educational fields.

Kapı kavramı, bir binaya ya da bir mekâna giriş ve çıkışın yanı sıra bulunduğu mekâna anlam katan önemli bir kültürel ve mimari değerdir. Tüm dünyada olduğu gibi Anadolu mimari yapılarında kapılara çok önem verilmiştir. Bu yapılardaki kapılar incelendiğinde; bazen dinsel simgeler, bazen güç göstergesini yansıtan ögeler, bazen de heykelsi yapılar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Özellikle camiler, mescitler, hamamlar, medreseler, türbeler, şifahaneler, kervansaraylar gibi dönemin önemli mimari yapılarında görkemli kapıları görmek mümkündür. Anadolu mimarisinde yer alan kapılar incelendiğinde en önemlilerinden bir tanesi kuşkusuz Divriği Ulu Camii Taç Kapılarıdır. Bu kapılarda, binanın mimari sanat olgusuyla, süsleme sanat olgusu birlikte gelişim gösterdiği görülmektedir. 12. Yüzyılda inşa edilen Divriği Ulu Camii ve taç kapıları; ahşap ve taş işçiliğinin en güzel örneklerini sergileyen, figüratif ve zengin motif süslemeleriyle bezenmiş, dönemin sanat anlayışını günümüze kadar aktaran önemli kültürel kodlarımızdandır. Diğer taraftan sofra seramiklerinde tasarım; üretildiği kurumun kültürel kimliğini ve markalaşmasını yansıtan en önemli unsurdur. Tasarım sürecinde tarihe damgasını vurmuş önemli mimari eserleri yaşatmak ve geleceğe de aktarım aracı olması açısından ele almak çok önemlidir. Bu araştırmanın en önemli özgün değeri; büyük bir ustalık ve estetik kaygı ile yapılmış döneminin en görkemli yapılarından biri olan Divriği Ulu Camii Taç Kapılarını; günümüz sofra seramiğinde ortaya çıkarılacak yeni ve çağdaş tasarımlarla yaşatmaktır. Böylece bir taraftan kültürel mirasımıza sahip çıkılacak, diğer taraftan sofra seramiği dekor tasarımlarına yeni bir bakış açısı getirilecektir. Bu çalışmanın, seramik sofra endüstrisine ve konu ile ilgili eğitim alan öğrencilere öncü olması umulmaktadır.
