Abstract

PATRIS (Parameterization of Trentino forest types by rapid forest inventory) The dataset consists of relascopic measurements (807 plots) and forest structure parameters (LAI, clumping index, gap fraction by zenith angle range) derived from hemispheric photos over 401 plots in the province of Trento. Years: 2004-2005. The dataset includes the following .csv formatted files: Metadata PaTRIS (ENG) categorical variables_v1.0 Metadata PaTRIS (ENG) data licence and info_v1.0 Metadata PaTRIS (ENG) numerical variables_v1.0 Metadata PaTRIS (ENG) species codes_v1.0 PaTRIS_data_v1.0 Discalimer: The dataset refers to measurements taken in 2004-2005 in the Autonomous Province of Trento (Trentino). A severe windstorm in October 2018 (Vaia storm) caused extensive windthrows over 20 thousand hectares in most forest areas of the province, including those included in the dataset.
