
The article studies the advantages of Audio-visual Method in language learning. The history of Audio-visual resources dates back to thousands of years ago. The Audio-visual method helps learners pick up the language through audio-visual aids such as films, song clips, entertaining programs, news, etc. The study underlines the significance of audio-visual tools in the process of language acquisition. It has been noted that audio-visual aids can provide a unique, extra dimension to the learning experience by allowing students to observe language in use, develop their cross-cultural awareness, understand the creative process, and become more motivated. The article revealed that students can both hear and see the language in use through the use of audio-visual tools. Since the message is communicated through expression, gesture, and other visual cues, they might readily interrupt, interact, and understand what they see.
