Education and psychology are interdependent fields that shape human behavior and learning. This study examines the cognitive and emotional development of 6th-grade students and its influence on learning. Conducted during teaching practice, it employed observations, surveys, and a case study to explore students’ mental and social changes. Findings revealed that tailored teaching strategies, such as scaffolding and emotional support, enhanced engagement and academic outcomes. However, challenges like limited resources and rigid curricula hindered implementation. The research highlights the importance of addressing developmental needs to improve educational effectiveness.
