The full-scale military invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine dealt a powerful blow to all branches of the national economy. As a result, production of key types of products decreased, including those that form the basis of Ukraine's export potential, revenues to budgets at all levels decreased, inflation increased, and a number of social problems worsened. At the same time, the local authorities in these regions were faced with the need to reorient the economy to «military rails», including by creating proper conditions for receiving internally displaced persons and providing them with better living conditions. In the first month after the mass invasion, more than 50 percent of businesses either ceased operations or suspended operations.
