This presentation was delivered as part of the consultation process for Open Infrastructures for Responsible Research Assessment: Principles and Framework, developed within the CoARA Working Group on Open Infrastructures for Responsible Research Assessment (OI4RRA). It introduces key findings and recommendations from the ongoing work on a framework designed to leverage Open Infrastructures for Responsible Research Assessment. The presentation explores the principles, characteristics, and practices essential to ensuring that Open Infrastructures remain transparent, inclusive, interoperable and aligned with responsible research assessment practices. It underscores the need to shift from proprietary systems to community-driven infrastructures, emphasizing technical robustness, operational capacity, ethical considerations, and stakeholder engagement. The consultation is open until 14 March 2025, and all stakeholders are encouraged to review the framework and share their feedback here: Feedback on the Community Consultation Open Infrastructures for Responsible Research Assessment: Principles and Framework
