This dataset contains IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor data for various boxing punches from different boxers, including Lead Hand Jab, Lead Hand Hook, Lead Hand Uppercut, Rear Hand Jab, Rear Hand Hook, and Rear Hand Uppercut. The data was collected from elite boxers, with the sampling frequency set to 200 Hz. Each entry in the dataset corresponds to IMU sensors placed on the boxer's both hand wrist, capturing motion dynamics during different punch types. The dataset includes kinematic parameters such as acceleration and angular velocity across different axes (X, Y, Z) for each punch movement. Data Format: The data is stored in CSV format, with each row representing a sample taken at 5 ms intervals. Columns represent measurements for each sensor (e.g., accelerometer and gyroscope axes) and punch type. Purpose of Dataset:This dataset can be used for analyzing boxing punch kinematics, understanding the dynamics of different punches, and applying machine learning techniques to classify or predict punch types based on sensor readings.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
