This dataset contains 6000 photographs of myxomycetes of the genus Lycogala, including field shots of early developmental stages, macrophotographs of sporocarps and details of their surface, microscopy of the peridium, capillitium, and spores, as well as SEM microscopy of these structures. The photographs are sorted by morphological species, including currently undescribed ones. If a morphological species includes several ribogroups (putative biospecies), they form subfolders within folders. Each photograph is labeled with the herbarium specimen number and ribogroup number. More detailed data about the samples, including their molecular barcodes, are available in the appendices to the article "Expanding Lycogala: twenty four new species, their morphology and phylogenetic relationships."
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
