This report summarizes the third meeting of the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Special Interest Group, hosted by the Health Data Research Alliance on February 9, 2024. Discussions focused on the OHDSI UK study-a-thon, real-world evidence for regulatory decisions, and challenges in OMOP implementation. Presentations covered fluoroquinolone prescriptions, rectopexy device identification, and ETL processes for healthcare data. Participants emphasized integrating OMOP into hospital systems, improving medical device data, and streamlining data transformations. The meeting concluded with a call for collaboration and training initiatives to enhance OMOP adoption and research reproducibility.
