Abstract

Das Poster präsentiert CREST Annotation, ein innovatives Tool, das die manuelle Bildannotation durch die Integration von Ontologien, IIIF und Computer Vision Modellen unterstützt. CREST Annotation bietet eine halbautomatische Bildsegmentierung und -detektion durch modulare Integration von Machine Learning Modellen sowie die Möglichkeit, Ontologien für kontrollierte Labelsets zu verwenden. Dies erhöht die Interoperabilität und Datenqualität bei der Bildannotation erheblich. Durch die flexible Einbindung von Machine Learning Modellen und die Unterstützung des IIIF-Standards ermöglicht das Tool eine effiziente und präzise Annotation großer Bilddatensätze. Anhand eines Anwendungsbeispiels aus der Heraldik wird die Funktionalität und der Nutzen von CREST Annotation veranschaulicht.
