Named Entity Uncertainty Mining: Von der intellektuellen zur computergestützten Untersuchung unsicherer Annotationen

Abstract

Die Entwicklung computergestützter Verfahren wie der Named Entity Recognition (NER) und des Entity Linking (EL) für historische Texte erfordert umfangreiche domänenspezifisch und intellektuell annotierte Daten. Bei der Erstellung solcher Daten treten oftmals Unsicherheiten in Bezug auf einzelne Annotationen auf. Diese Unsicherheiten können u.a. auf eine fehlende oder fehlerhafte Kontextualisierung der Texte, auf den Wandel der Dokumente und ihrer Inhalte sowie zusätzliche Prozessierungsschritte zurückgeführt werden. Aktuell angewendete Praktiken und die Verfügbarkeit von Ressourcen nehmen einen Einfluss auf die Entstehung von Unsicherheit. Auf der Grundlage einer umfassenden Literaturrecherche werden die verschiedenen Arten und Ursachen von Unsicherheiten diskutiert. Des Weiteren werden Ansätze zur computergestützten Messung und damit zur Dokumentierung und Reduzierung von Unsicherheiten in annotierten Daten präsentiert.
