Abstract

Este artículo explora la articulación del Enfoque Centrado en la Persona (ECP) de Carl Rogers y el Aprendizaje Socioemocional (ASE) como estrategia de desarrollo en la educación. Se identifican puntos de convergencia entre ambos enfoques, resaltando sus contribuciones y desafíos en el contexto educativo. Se presentan visiones para mejorar las prácticas educativas, considerando su constante evolución y la necesidad de abordar nuevos fenómenos educativos. Se destaca la importancia de que el ECP contribuya con estrategias y prácticas educativas, y se describen los desafíos asociados con la implementación de estos enfoques en el contexto educativo.

This article explores the articulation of Carl Rogers' Person-Centred Approach (PCA) and Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) as a developmental strategy in education. Points of convergence between both approaches are identified, highlighting their contributions and challenges in the educational context. Visions are presented to enhance educational practices, considering their continuous evolution and the necessity to address new educational phenomena. The importance of PCA contributing to educational strategies and practices is emphasized, and the challenges associated with implementing these approaches in the educational context are described.
