The OpenAIRE Guidelines for Literature Repository Managers 4.0 are designed to help repository managers align their repositories with the latest OpenAIRE metadata standards. This document provides additional technical guidance for repository managers using DSpace to implement these guidelines and ensure that their systems meet OpenAIRE 4.0 requirements. It does not cover all OpenAIRE guidelines and is specific to v4.0. The advice focuses on DSpace – however, the guidelines are written in a generic way for all repositories. This guide focuses on providing guidance to the network of Ireland’s open access repositories, Open Repositories Ireland (ORI), when considering metadata. This project has received funding from Ireland’s National Open Research Forum (NORF) under the 2022 Open Research Fund. NORF is funded by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) on behalf of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research Innovation and Science (DFHERIS).
