Abstract

Supplementary Data for Giuri et al. (2024): Multiple impact sources for light plains around the lunar south pole The attached datasets are the shapefiles (areas and crater measurements) for the article ' Multiple impact sources for light plains around the lunar south pole'. The shapefiles can be directly imported in ArcPRO/QGIS. PLEASE NOTE: Schroedinger I2 area update from 1040 km2 to 983 km2. Also attached is a .png file (image) of the study region with the 22 dated light plains and smooth crater floors color-coded by age, Fig. 4 in the research paper. If you use these data, please cite BOTH the Journal of Geophysical Research: Planets publication and the Zenodo dataset. Giuri, B., van der Bogert, C.H., Robinson, M.S. and Hiesinger, H., 2024.
