Mid-Infrared absorption spectra and mass absorption coefficients for twenty-three chondrites

Authors: Batalla Falcon, Grace Angela;

Mid-Infrared absorption spectra and mass absorption coefficients for twenty-three chondrites

Abstract

Cosmic Dust Laboratory Measurements - Universidad Diego Portales, ChileThis repository provides comprehensive data on the mass absorption coefficients (MAC) of 23 meteorites, featuring dust grains sized between 3 µm and 5 µm, measured across the infrared spectrum (2–25 µm). These measurements offer valuable insights into the optical properties of meteoritic materials, aiding research in astrophysics, planetary science, and cosmic dust analysis. For extended datasets, including absorption spectra, grain size distributions, and pure mineral measurements, visit the official Cosmic Dust Laboratory webpage: https://astronomia.udp.cl/es/collaboration/udp-cosmic-dust-laboratory/.
