The body, at the crossroads of biological, psychic and social systems, is undoubtedly the place where systemic approaches, necessarily transdisciplinary, are most relevant. This issue focuses on the paradoxical experience of the body as experienced by oneself and others, both from within and as an object that can be grasped from the outside. It considers both the pathological and therapeutic implications of this constitutive paradox of the human being.
