Abstract

The year 2025 began with a notable event for HERA—the AIAA SciTech Forum in Orlando, FL. The Clean Aviation Special Session on "Innovative Aircraft Concepts and Novel Configurations" was chaired by Jurij Sodja, Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft. This session featured a presentation titled "HERA – Hybrid-Electric Regional Architecture" by Massimiliano Di Giulio, Giuseppe Piscopo, and Vittorio Ascione from Leonardo.
