MEDICINA TRADICIONAL CHINA MAS LA REFLEXOLOGÍA AURICULAR EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE LA LUMBALGIA DESDE EL SENTIR DEL HACIENTE

Abstract

La lumbalgia, caracterizada por dolor en la región lumbo-sacra que puede irradiar hacia las cervicales, piernas, tobillos y pies, afecta significativamente la movilidad del paciente. Este síntoma ha sido objeto de numerosos estudios en medicina alopática y oriental, incluyendo la medicina tradicional china y la reflexología auricular. La investigación busca profundizar en las experiencias de los pacientes tratados con estas terapias, más allá de su valoración clínica. Se adoptó un enfoque cualitativo mediante la fenomenología interpretativa para explorar las vivencias de los participantes. Esto permitió identificar los significados que los informantes asignan a su experiencia con la medicina tradicional china y la reflexología auricular en el tratamiento de la lumbalgia. Los hallazgos sugieren que estas prácticas no solo abordan el síntoma físico, sino que también impactan en el bienestar emocional y en la percepción del dolor. La auriculoterapia, por ejemplo, estimula puntos reflejos que pueden aliviar el dolor lumbar al activar respuestas neurofisiológicas. Este enfoque integral resalta la importancia de considerar tanto los aspectos físicos como emocionales en el tratamiento de la lumbalgia
