Abstract

El desarrollo de competencias digitales es fundamental en la educación superior, especialmente en un entorno donde el acceso y uso de la tecnología determinan las oportunidades de aprendizaje y desarrollo profesional. Este estudio evalúa el nivel de acceso, uso y dominio de herramientas digitales en estudiantes de Ingeniería en Gestión Empresarial y Licenciatura en Administración del Instituto Tecnológico de Tepic. Mediante un enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental y descriptivo, se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado a una muestra representativa de 249 estudiantes. El instrumento, compuesto por nueve preguntas de opción múltiple, exploró el acceso a dispositivos electrónicos, la frecuencia de uso de herramientas colaborativas y las habilidades en gestión de contenido digital. La recopilación de datos se realizó entre agosto y octubre de 2024 a través de Google Forms, facilitando su análisis y visualización. Los resultados revelan desigualdades en el acceso tecnológico y brechas en la formación digital de los estudiantes, lo que sugiere la necesidad de estrategias institucionales para fortalecer la alfabetización digital. Este diagnóstico proporciona información clave para la toma de decisiones en políticas educativas, promoviendo el desarrollo de habilidades digitales esenciales para la inserción en un entorno académico y profesional altamente digitalizado.
