Reaprofitament i redistribució alimentària: una anàlisi de governança

Abstract

[EN] This report examines the governance of food waste and redistribution initiatives (FWR) in the city of Barcelona. This implies, on the one hand, understanding the regulatory framework that affects and conditions the practice of these food sharing activities, as well as mapping the actors involved, and understanding the type of relations formed between the actors involved in these initiatives. Also, understanding the FWR governance landscape in Barcelona involves appreciating and describing the diversity of projects in the city and identifying who their main beneficiaries are. We also identify the main obstacles hindering the benefits of these initiatives and the enablers that promote their success. The ultimate purpose of this report is to provide recommendations for the local government, the private sector, and the food sharing initiatives to support FWR expansion and improvement in Barcelona.
