
This is a presentation of Anita Breuer from the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), Germany held at the ISA 2025 Annual Convention in Chicago after her PRODIGEES research secondment to Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), Brazil. The researcher uses an interdisciplinary approach to identify the root causes of digital disinformation in Brazil and formulates evidence-based policy recommondation.
