
Annotation: This article shows the growth of the population of cities and villages in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the increase in the amount of medical care provided to them. At the same time, the excessive growth of medical waste has an impact on the deterioration of the ecological situation, and it, in turn, creates serious risks that become an important factor in environmental pollution. Currently, there are about 50 types of hazardous waste and their list is opened by clinical waste. Information about medical waste and their negative impact on the environment and the population of Samarkand is presented. Recommendations for improving the ecological environment are presented.
