An IoT-Based Accident Detection and Emergency Alert System is designed to automatically identify vehicular accidents and promptly notify emergency services. The system employs sensors to detect collisions, a GPS module to determine the vehicle's location, and a communication module to transmit this information. In this implementation, LoRa (Long Range) communication technology is utilized for its extended range and low power consumption, ensuring reliable data transmission even in areas with limited cellular coverage. Upon detecting an accident, the system displays an alert message on an LED screen and sends detailed information—including the accident's location, time, vehicle identification, and severity—to emergency responders, facilitating swift assistance.
