Los juegos matemáticos en la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la matemática: una revisión bibliométrica en Scopus

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo realizar un estudio bibliométrico en Scopus basado en los juegos matemáticos para el aprendizaje por medio de la matemática, desde el 2000 al 2024. Para ello, se utilizó un método bibliométrico y un enfoque cuantitativo. A partir de esto, se eligieron 232 documentos de la base de datos Scopus. Los resultados muestran que de todos los países, Estados Unidos registró el mayor aumento de la producción científica con un 15.1% entre 2016 y 2024, contribuyendo a un aumento total del 71.1%. Además, las ciencias sociales (33.8%) y la informática (19%), fueron los campos de estudio más pertinentes, mientras que el autor principal con más citas fue Fessakis, G. con 308 citas y la fuente más destacada fue Computers And Education con 12 documentos publicados. Se concluye que la investigación sobre juegos matemáticos para la educación ha progresado en cuanto a la amplitud de los temas tratados, la participación y colaboración entre autores, el nivel de cooperación institucional y la disponibilidad de datos pertinentes. Por lo tanto, los resultados apuntan a una tendencia creciente en el uso de juegos en el aula, con énfasis en las tácticas colaborativas e interdisciplinarias, lo que repercute en las actitudes y comportamientos de los estudiantes hacia las matemáticas. Por lo tanto, este análisis bibliométrico establece una base para otros estudios a futuro.
