Ciberacoso, grooming y sexting: amenazas de violencia digital en la infancia

Abstract

La violencia digital afecta a niñas y niños al exponerlos a riesgos como el ciberacoso, el grooming y el sexting, fenómenos amplificados por el desarrollo exponencial de las tecnologías digitales. Este artículo analiza el impacto de la violencia digital en el comportamiento infantil, enfocándose en su influencia emocional, social y psicológica. Con una perspectiva criminológica este trabajo se apoya en teorías como el biopoder de Foucault para entender las dinámicas de control y vigilancia que las plataformas digitales imponen sobre las conductas de los menores. Además, se abordan las implicaciones de políticas públicas, como la Ley Olimpia en México para mitigar estos riesgos, así como prevenir y sancionar la violencia digital. El artículo destaca la falta de regulación y la exposición temprana de los menores al mundo digital, así como la necesidad de fomentar una cultura de prevención y alfabetización digital. Se enfatiza la importancia de involucrar a padres, educadores y creadores de contenido en la construcción de entornos digitales seguros a través de estrategias educativas, legales y sociales que protejan a la niñez en el entorno digital y fomente un uso seguro de las tecnologías. Este análisis contribuye al debate sobre cómo promover un entorno digital más inclusivo y seguro para los menores.
