Impacto del juego libre en el desarrollo de la autonomía infantil

Abstract

Este estudio tuvo por objetivo analizar la influencia del juego libre en el desarrollo de la autonomía en niños de 5 años. Para ello, se empleó una metodología cuantitativa con un diseño pre-experimental, utilizando una muestra de 19 niños. La autonomía fue evaluada mediante una guía de observación basada en dos dimensiones: relación consigo mismo y relación con los demás, estructurada en una escala tipo Likert. Los resultados iniciales mostraron que el 63% de los niños presentaban niveles bajos de autonomía, mientras que ningún participante alcanzó niveles altos. Tras la intervención con actividades de juego libre, se observó una mejora significativa: el 100% de los niños alcanzó un nivel alto de autonomía, lo que fue confirmado mediante la prueba t-Student (p = 0.000). Estos hallazgos destacan el impacto positivo del juego libre como estrategia pedagógica para fomentar tanto la independencia personal como las habilidades sociales, permitiendo a los niños tomar decisiones, resolver problemas y gestionar relaciones sin una dependencia constante de los adultos. La investigación concluye que el juego libre es una herramienta eficaz para promover el desarrollo integral en la educación inicial y sugiere su incorporación sistemática en el currículo educativo.
