Relación entre responsabilidad social universitaria y desarrollo sostenible en la educación superior

Abstract

El desarrollo sostenible es un desafío global que requiere la integración de valores y prácticas sostenibles en la educación superior. La Responsabilidad Social Universitaria (RSU) juega un papel clave en este proceso, ya que promueve la formación de profesionales comprometidos con la sociedad y el medioambiente. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la RSU y el desarrollo sostenible desde la perspectiva de los estudiantes de una escuela de gestión en Lima, Perú. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental y transversal, aplicando encuestas a una muestra de 259 estudiantes. Los resultados indicaron una correlación positiva y significativa entre la RSU y el desarrollo sostenible, con un coeficiente de Spearman de 0.614 y un nivel de significancia menor a 0.05. Se concluye que es necesario fortalecer la incorporación de la sostenibilidad en la formación académica y en la filosofía organizacional de las universidades para fomentar una educación más consciente y orientada a la acción social y ambiental.
