Finca Los Escuderos: Caso De Estudio De Almendro De Secano

Abstract

El grupo de Conservación de Suelos y Aguas del CEBAS-CSIC presenta el caso de estudio 1 del proyecto Diverfarming. En este caso de estudio transformamos un agrosistema de secano con monocultivo tradicional de almendro en un sistema diversificado, con el fin de combinar el aumento de beneficios ecosistémicos y económicos. El trabajo se desarrolla de forma experimental dónde todas las decisiones se toman siguiendo un proceso participativo, involucrando a distintos actores sociales. Éste es uno de 13 casos de estudio de diversificación establecidos en el proyecto en distintas zonas climáticas europeas. Además el proyecto incorpora 9 casos de estudio más con una larga historia de prácticas sostenibles para poder evaluar a largo plazo los servicios ecosistémicos que proporcionan. El trabajo en el caso de estudio 1 se realiza en colaboración con el grupo de Enzimología, Biorremediación y Manejo de Residuos Orgánicos del CEBAS-CSIC, ASAJA, DML y UPCT.
