
Abstract: This study explores the evolution of information consumption in the digital age,highlighting the transformative impact of technology on media habits. The study begins bytracing the transition from traditional print and broadcast media to digital platforms, highlightingthe role of the internet and mobile devices in reshaping audience behavior. It examines keytrends, such as the rise of social media as a primary source of information, the decline of printnewspapers, and the increasing proliferation of multimedia content. The study also addresses theimplications of these changes for journalistic practices, including the challenges ofdisinformation and the need for adaptive strategies in the dissemination of information. Bysynthesizing the findings of various studies, this study aims to provide a comprehensiveunderstanding of how digital advances have influenced audience engagement with information,the role of algorithms in content curation, and the changing expectations of consumers in thecontemporary information landscape.
