Deliverable D5.2: Report on Communication, dissemination, and exploitation results and updated CoDEP for Y2

Abstract

This document provides a comprehensive overview of the communication, dissemination, and exploitation (CoDEP) activities carried out during the first year (Y1) of the ORIGAMI project, a collaborative research initiative aimed at advancing technological solutions for the upcoming sixth generation (6G) networks. The deliverable highlights the strategies employed, key achievements, and insights gained during Y1, reflecting the project’s commitment to fostering awareness, engagement, and impact within the scientific community, industry stakeholders, and the general public. The ORIGAMI project’s communication efforts in Y1 prioritized increasing visibility and fostering collaboration. These efforts included the establishment of an online presence through dedicated social media channels, a project website, and initial public outreach campaigns. Dissemination activities focused on sharing the project's progress and initial findings through scientific publications, participation in conferences, and organization of workshops. Exploitation efforts centered on identifying and aligning the project's technological innovations with market needs, ensuring a clear pathway for impactful adoption and commercialization. Additionally, the ORIGAMI project placed significant emphasis on producing contributions for Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), particularly 3GPP and the O-RAN Alliance. The project actively collaborates in the working group activities of the SNS and the 6G IA, ensuring alignment with ongoing research and standardization efforts critical to the development of next-generation networks. This deliverable also includes an updated Communication, Dissemination, Standardization and Exploitation Plan (CoDEP) for the second year (Y2) of the project. The Y2 plan outlines a refined approach, leveraging the lessons learned in Y1, and scaling up activities to achieve broader outreach and deeper stakeholder engagement. Key focus areas for Y2 include enhancing the scientific impact of the project, broadening industry collaborations, and initiating steps for intellectual property protection and commercialization strategies. By detailing the outcomes of Y1 and setting the course for Y2, this deliverable underscores ORIGAMI’s strategic approach to ensuring that its innovations contribute meaningfully to the development of 6G technologies and the broader telecommunications ecosystem. The insights presented in this document will serve as a foundation for guiding future efforts and maximizing the project's overall impact.
