Building upon the EU-oncDST concept introduced in Deliverable 10.1 of the CAN.HEAL project under the EU4Health Programme, Deliverable 10.2 presents a strategic action plan for its deployment across Europe. This digital framework aims to enhance clinical decision-making in oncology by improving the implementation and interoperability of existing oncDSTs, centralising patient data, encouraging collaboration among key stakeholders and fostering innovation. The action plan presents a phased approach, initially focusing on a symbiotic relationship between molecular tumour boards (MTBs) deployment and the widespread implementation of oncDSTs. This phase includes validating the impact of oncDSTs through pilot applications in MTB settings and prioritising key areas such as improving patient-centred consultations, harmonising variant annotation, enhancing clinical trial matching, and supporting the broader adoption of the MTB module. Furthermore, the action plan emphasizes the role of public-private partnerships and EU initiatives in facilitating the implementation of the oncDST concept, ultimately improving patient outcomes and advancing precision oncology in Europe.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
